Every week Kotaku‘s PC Gaming Lives block shows off some of the finest custom-made enclosures in our Case Mod of the Week segment. But not all computers are pretty. There’s mine, for instance. Now show us yours. Don’t let the small size fool you, my Maingear X-Cube is a powerful little machine for what little is packed inside. It’s also got a Samsung 128GB SSD drive inside for my games (it makes a world of difference), mounted so precariously one could almost say it’s hanging off the side of the drive enclosure. There used to be a DVD burner in there, but I removed it while replacing my power supply a few weeks back and haven’t gotten around to putting it back. I’ve grown to love the hole. It adds character. I’ll be upgrading my case soon with something much… well, you’ll see. Maybe I’ll even mount the SSD drive.
